Sorry we are a little behind on making new posts. We have been out of town and well morning sickness has gotten the best of me. I have not been well at all! I am going to see the doctor today to make sure my sickness is not excessive. Hope to post Christmas pics soon.

Today is the Day!

Today is the day that we let everyone know that we are expecting our second baby! We are due July 22nd and we are about 9 weeks pregnant right now. Baby is developing well and Mommy has been very sick. We have not told Jack yet. Since we are trying to transition him with his bed and potty training, I don't think we want to spring the news on him too soon! He does not adjust to change well. :-)

Sydney Elise!
Jeremiah and Jennifer welcomed the latest addition to their family. Meet our new niece Sydney Elise. :-) Mommy and baby are doing well. Mommy was a real trooper. She had a C-section and after delivery needed a blood transfusion. We thank God for her recovery and for this sweet baby girl. If only Jeremiah could get Mommy to take it easy and to STOP cleaning for just a second. ;-)

Christmas Tree
We got our Christmas tree this weekend. It was fun this time around because Jack really understands what is going on and he can hold a real conversation about Christmas, winter, and all of that fun stuff. He asked if there were snowflakes outside. I explained.. not quite. But if it does snow that I would be sure to let him know. Anyhow, he ran around the trees and made goofy faces. It was a memorable Saturday.
This is Jack "smiling" for the camera.
Jack and I watched as Daddy secured the tree for the drive home.
Jack helped decorate. He was obsessed with all of the drum ornaments.

Before Christmas Gets Here
I thought I should post Thanksgiving 08 pictures before Christmas gets here. We hosted my family this year. (Minus Jeremiah's clan) Grandma and Grandpa came and stayed a couple of days. Jack really enjoyed spending time with them. Grandpa fixed the guest bathroom toilet. Just like we all knew he would. Thank God! Grandma spent a lot of time cooking yummy food. Thanks Grandma, we all enjoy your meals. Uncle Jes, Aunt Jennifer and Olivia came over and hung out before heading out to the UT game. Olivia and Jack had a blast playing and making a mess in Jack's room. Here are a few pictures of the holiday.
Jack showing Olivia his booboos. AKA-dry skin skin issues
Grandma making a silly face for the camera. (a typical behavior displayed on my side of the family)
Grandma and Grandpa going for a little after dinner walk.
Jes and Jennifer geared up for the Longhorn game.
Grandpa and Jack watching the game on TV.
Notice Jack's mismatched pajamas.
He had a difficult time staying clean. So this is the result of multiple changes.

Fall Party
Hi all,
Okay so these photos are not in the order I wanted them but I am not going to take the time to figure it out right now. Here's the story. Jack's class had a fall party. All the parents were invited to participate. It was such a cute event. All of us eager beaver parents were sure to capture every second on camera. There a lot more photos but I didn't want to break any rules/laws with posting other people's kiddos on our blog without permission. (You can take the teacher out of the classroom but she's still a teacher...) Anyhow, we arrived to help Jack with his Thanksgiving craft. Then the kids sat on the rainbow rug to listen to a Thanksgiving story. We all ate a snack together and then the party was over as the children broke into tears realizing that their parents were going back to work. It was so sad. I asked Jack if he wanted to come home with me and he chose to stay with his friends! The first of many rejections I am sure. I am just glad to know that he enjoys his class. And I am grateful for the work/school schedule that allows for Todd and I to attend these events. :-)

Jack's finished Turkey. It was our Thanksgiving Day centerpiece.
Will post Thanksgiving Day pictures soon.

Summer Flash Back #2
This summer Todd finished his DMA at UT. We are so proud of him. We all traveled to Austin for the graduation and had a great time celebrating. As you will see below, his family was really having fun with the whole UT thing. I love this picture of them.
Dr. Daddy and Jack
As promised. Todd's family like you have never seen them before.
